Sustainable Villages

Supporting the ecological and economic growth of rural communities in Patagonia

Villa Cerro Castillo Square

Villa Cerro Castillo

The Aysén region of Chilean Patagonia is attracting more visitors each year, boosting the tourism economy while facing the challenge of conserving its natural resources. What was once a hidden corner is becoming a coveted refuge for trekking, climbing and connecting with the natural wonders of its reserves and national parks. In addition, it is consolidating as a beautiful rural destination for those seeking to get away from the cities.

Our purpose is to support small communities in their growth path in the face of increasing tourism and population, promoting an economically and ecologically sustainable expansion.

Through our pillars of mindful integration, we strive to humbly contribute what the communities express as their needs, always with their explicit authorization:

  • Methodology and Systems

  • Governance and Community

  • Education

  • Sustainable "Voluntourism"

The long-term success of our collaboration with each community's only school, its population and local authorities will be the starting point for expanding similar projects to other towns and municipalities in the region.
